An Immortal creation based on Raga Hameer.

The composition consists of 6 levels of increasing tempo.

Naushad Ali Mohmod Rafi and Marhum Ustad Abdul Halim Jafer

On screen, Dilip Kumar, who had learnt to play the Sitar
has given full justice to the whole scene.

Lead Sitar: Shri Chandrashekar Phanse
Sitar Support: Dr. Sujata Bhat & Vijay Jagannathan
Tabla: Sujeet Panchal Jal
Tarang and Harmonium: Sidhesh Bicholker
Flute: Gandhar Bhalerao
Audio: Saurabh Kajrekar of Buzin Studio

Jai Maharaj, Jyotishi
Thank you for providing the names of the
sangat~kaars.

Do these names refer to the actual people
accompanying Dilip Kumar when he sings this
composition (in Raag Hameer) in the film ?

I am sorry to learn that Ustad Abdul Haleem
Ja'far Khan is no more. I remember
attending a sparsely attended morning recital
by him at the Secretariat Gymkhana in Bombay,
about 52-53 years back.
