"Never" is a pretty serious charge and most probably untrue, but
whenever you get such a message, just go to itwofs.com to verify who
is and who is not a thief.

Has anyone verified authenticity of this allegation.Unfortunately (or
fortunately) I do not listen to these songs. according to me they are
punishment to ears! ( my personal view)

The claim is half-truth. I recently had visited itwofs to see which
of Pritam's songs, specifically from "Metro", were copied. I was a
little disappointed by the sheer number of his songs that are copied.
I do like his music. But just to be fair to him, not "every" song is
listed and not every song of those listed is a blatant copy. Some
just have minor inspirations. Some have inspirations from 2 or 3 songs
from totally different parts of the world, pulled together to create a
very good finished product. Ofcourse I don't give him any credit for
lifting the original in totality. But he does deserve credit for some
of the inspired creations. Yes it is unethical on his part to not
credit/ buy rights to the original, but that's a different issue.
I was glad that "in dino" just had one line copied (that line does
happen to be the most beautiful line in the song) and "alvida" was not
in the list (yet). :) Hey, the guy is creative in a way and is he
good with his guitar!
