Q: Who was the director of: DIL-E-NADAN (1953)
=================================

The film titles list A R Kardar (the producer) himself as the
Director

While Film Geet Kosh, Vol 3 (1st Edition), list the director as:
HARISH
(probably the same fellow, who directed: MALHAR (1951) for producer:
Mukesh

Which is the correct entry ?

Also, the heroine name was spelled as: Peace Kamal. To the best of
my
recollection, her name was: PEACE KANWAL.

Thanks

Sudhir

p.s.: The film should have been named: 'MEHBOOBA FROM HELL'

HFGK Volume 3 with me lists A R Kardar as the Director
The female star cast includes Shyama and Peace Kanwal.
Probably Shyama had the lead role.

No. Peace Kanwal was the leading lady. The two are sisters.
Talat Mahmood falls in love with Peace Kanwal. But Shyama
creates circumstances which force Talat to marry her. And they
have a child too. Ultimately Shyama dies. And, in the end,
Talat is reunited with Peace Kanwal.

In a macabre sense, it was a little funny to see Talat singing
a very mournful song right on his "suhaag raat" --- "Zindagi dene
waale sun". Fine music by Ghulam Mohammed.
