I never observed Ashaji singing so well as she sang " Tere bin ji na sakegen sanam" Was it composed by Sg Ganesh ji? What was his age at that time?

I saw this movie with joy Mukherjee & Vimi named Kahin aar kahin Paar
for which the music was compsed by Shri Ganesh ji. Movie was ok but such a great orchestration & Asha Bhonsle's dance numbers were fantastic. I whish I know more about Mr. ganesh

Sad to know MD, Ganeshji is no more. 'Dil ne pyar kya hai ek bewafa se' from Shararat has been an all time favourite with me. In early 70s I used to look forward to release of films for which Ganeshji scored music. RIP, great maestro

A very gifted and a talanted music composer is no more Truly Ganesh was an unsung hero of hindi film music who has left us afew days back.His melodies from shararat Chalak Thakur Jernail singh movies of 60's songs hum tere bin jee na sakenge , Dil ne pyaar kiya hai ek bewafaa se, Bicchua ne dank maara, Jaam se peena bura hai, Man gaaye yeh tarana are still my most favorite songs am very sad at his demise my heartfelt condolences to his family can some one tell me his date of death because mediadoesnt care to give news of less known artists

Music direvtor ganesh ji was d master of melodies music iam surprised hindi film industry had not given not much chance otherwise we found what ever he given music was melodies and hit like hum tere bin jina sakege dil ne pyar kiya hai dil ka narang le dil dar le man gaye woh trans after 1974 we had not find where he was why he left the bollywood pls update what he was doing why pyarelal ji had not give him work.RIP.

I too like music director Ganesh's songs. Asha Bhosle's 'Hum tere bin jee na sakenge' and Rafi's 'Dil ne pyar kiya hai' are some of his evergreen songs I love. He did not get his fair due in the music industry and scored songs for a limited number of films only. Very few people may actually know about him. But long live Ganesh ji. Your music will live forever.

Ganesh was the son of a renowned trumpeter Pandit Ramprasad Sharma (popularly known as Babaji), who taught him the basics of music. Ganesh is the brother of Pyarelal (of LP), Naresh Sharma, Gorakh Sharma, Anand Sharma & Mahesh Sharma.

A very gifted and a talented music composer is no more today, but truly Ganesh was an unsung hero of Hindi film music. His melodies from Shararat, Chalak, Thakur Jernail Singh movies of 60's songs Hum Tere Bin Jee Na Sakenge... , Dil Ne Pyaar Jiya Hai Ek Bewafaa Se..., Bicchua Ne Dank Maara..., Jaam Se Peena Bura Hai..., Man Gaaye Yeh Tarana... are still most popular songs.

Ganesh Ramprasad Sharma died of a heart-attack on 28 March 2000. He was 58 and survived by a wife and two kids.

as an assistant to the duo and had not been on the music scene for over 20 years
